Phillips (3-1) saw his 15 inning scoreless streak end abruptly on a first pitch home run by Mariners’ center fielder, Victor Robles, to set the tone for the Mariners’ offense.
After recording the first out in the bottom of the second inning, Phillips allowed a walk and single to set the table for Mariners’ first baseman, Luke Raley, who obliterated a misplaced fastball to the outer reaches of right center.

Tyler Phillips is the first Phillie starter to surrender 8 or more runs in 2 or less innings since 2015.
