The Sixers showed enough fight for the game to not get out of hand but they successfully lost to the tanking Raptors Sunday.

The Sixers were able to stick around in the first half but a big Heat third quarter led to another welcomed loss Saturday night.

The Raptors’ injury list was plentiful and they sat two starters in the second half, but a hot shooting second quarter carried them to an undesired win vs. the Sixers.

Tyrese Maxey had his worst game of the season and Joel Embiid struggled down the stretch as the Sixers lost to a bad Raptors team at home.

The Sixers shouldn’t tank the rest of the 2024-25 season — and even if they wanted to, it’s not very practical.
